He even appeared on "Sesame Street" as Willy, the neighborhood's resident hot dog vendor.
Love started his career making puppets for a theater during the Great Depression and then started designing costumes for Orson Welles' Mercury Theater.
So I really enjoyed calling cablevision to tell them how much they suck. Yes, I am the proud owner of FIOS TV!!! (cue the cheering). It's amazing quality vs. cablevisions crappy service. What really broke the last straw was that Cablevision sent me a letter saying that on 5/27/2008 I would have to upgrade to IO for an additional $11 plus on top of the $70 I was paying already plus rent all these set top boxes + an additional fee for remotes or I wouldn't be able to recieve TLC, A&E, E!, Sci-Fi Channel, TruTV, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, C-SPAN2, and QVC (TLC, TruTV are some of my most watched channels).

Looking into Fios TV (which just came to Town of Mamaroneck) amongst Dish and DirecTV, but Fios turned out to be much cheaper than Cablevisions equivalent. A few clicks later FIOS TV was on it's way. Installation was easy as I already have had FIOS Internet + Phone since 2005. Took about an hour as I did a lot of the leg work myself before the install date, which was running a single run of RG6 from the ONT to my existing Coax Distribution block and another run of RG6 from the demarc to the rack for the MOCA. Verizon also upgraded my router to the new Actiontec, etc (which has a very advanced configuration which surprisingly isn't too locked down.) I did need STB's, but Verizon gave me a package for 3 boxes which was basically equal to one of Cablevisions. I also got two Digital Adaptors, which is basically a STB but without the guide. Verizon also includes the remotes with the STB's as where Cablevision doesn't.

Mr. Dolan, you got what you deserve. Go shove it. I'm basically hoping that now I don't get bombarded with harassing phone calls now from Cablevision begging me to come back.

I am so tired today. I should have taken the day off after my long weekend. On Friday I decided to ride VAC since they needed a driver till a Crew 1 member showed up. He showed up at 12 so I went home. I knew I had fire class on Saturday. So I wake my ass up at 7:30am and make it to the Fire Training Center around 8:30... Stand around with the rest of the class outside waiting for them to get the Burn House setup. It's a building with propane fire simulators. Half hour later I'm in the house on the nozzle putting out the fake fire. Lunch at Wendys (mmmm...) around 2pm. After lunch, 2 car fires later were packing up Engine 7 (the training center rig) and I hear the Town of Mamaroneck tones go out. Then they annouunce the address. It's my house! I was like Whiskey Tango Foxtrot??? Odor of smoke in the basement. I was like what could that be... Turns out to be a booster pump on the boiler blew out. So the service comapany replaces it like 1 hour before the snow started. Thank god for that, otherwise no heat. After that debacle, I find myself at VAC. I do the overnight as the driver for the 2nd ambulance. Sunday morning breakfast at VAC (always good...) and lunch, then I leave around 4. Go home and find my father shoveling. I told him I would take care of it. He really thinks he helped but he made a mess that I didn't need to deal with. He took the snow blower and kinda skimmed the top layer of snow but really didn't get down to the asphalt so he left a nice compressed layer. Which I had to scrape up. If he let me do it, all I would have to deal with is a nice fluffy powder. Laundry and bed. Wake up on Monday. Drive myself and my father to the train. Slip in the parking lot. My father didn't even notice. Stand on the platform waiting for the train. Waited about a half hour before one finally came. Deal with the nasty people on the subway. What people have to realized is that were all in the same boat together. Now I'm at work. I have VAC again tonight... I'm tired. Thats all there is to say.
